Presented hereare several documents from the application for the Texas Historic Cemetery Designation for Founders' Memorial Park Cemetery in Houston, Harris County, Texas.  These documents include the "Narrative History and Local Context of the Cemetery."

So often, narratives and other application materials are sent off to the Texas Historical Commission and are placed in a THC file where the general public has no easy access.  The Texas Heritage Society is proud to present the narrative history supporting the Application for the Texas Historic Cemetery Designation for Founders' Memorial Cemetery. The narrative history contains a great deal of information as well as sources of information including an extensive bibliography.

We hope these documents help those interested in the history of Founders' Memorial Park Cemetery as well as researchers.
