Splinters
. This edition
includes articles about the history of the Fostoria
Termites, New Caney Sports Tidbits, Splendora's first
drum major, and poems by Glen Thigpen and
Barbara Jean Lee Hamilton.
The purpose of the East
Montgomery County Historical Society is bring people together
who are interested in local and family history, to promote
historical and genealogical research through programs,
workshops, and library collections, to assist members in the
use of genalogical methods, and to promote the preservation and
dissemination of records and resources of the local area having
historical value.
